I would like an always-on electronic way to add stuff to a daybook file, the way that a paper bullet journal can be always open and ready to go. I don’t want to have to wake up a screen that’s fallen asleep, or launch or switch to an app to start typing. It’s got to be faster than paper, searchable, plaintext or Markdown. Syncing with Dropbox would be nice. But small enough to leave open on my desk all the time and just dump things into.

When editing in Lightroom or Capture One, I never know if my screen is too light or too dark when it comes to making exposure adjustments. I just followed this guy’s advice and made my own copy of the Photography (P3-D65)” preset, and set the SDR to 80 (or 100). Those two settings seem to be in the range of what I can work with.

I don’t love that Craft has a limit of 175k blocks per space. Yes, I’m only at 1.2% of that utilization, but it feels arbitrary and makes me not take it as seriously as I’d like.
